Pros

Pay is comparable, quarterly bonus program. The site staff is great. And their free education programs are a nice touch.

Cons

They work you to death, no work/life balance. If you ask for help they blow you off and don't even respond. I've easily worked 45-50+ work weeks to keep caught up because I only have one leasing agent and they need their days off in exchange for working weekends. The property should also have a pt agent. And they don't seem to care that we are feeling overwhelmed. I've worked the past three weekends to cover. And was able to take one day off day in exchange. Minimal training given. Feel like I was set up to fail. The area directors have a lot of sites they over see and I see that they are also overwhelmed. It's just not a well run management company. I am moving in to a new role and hope that this is a better run community and project. If not I'm leaving!!

Unfortunately, I cannot provide any pros based on my experience.

Cons

Village Green is easily the worst company I have ever worked for. The organization operates in complete chaos with deeply unethical leadership, zero accountability, and an absolutely toxic culture from the top down. Employees are treated as disposable, constantly misled, overworked, and blamed for failures created by incompetent management. Fear, favoritism, retaliation, and dishonesty were normalized daily. The company showed a shocking disregard for professionalism, employee wellbeing, operational standards, and resident trust. Turnover was extreme for a reason — competent employees do not stay. Leadership consistently protected themselves instead of fixing serious issues, and the environment became mentally draining and impossible to thrive in. I would strongly discourage anyone from working here or trusting this company with their career. In my experience, this organization should not be managing people, properties, or teams at the scale it does.
