Pros

Thorough training program- village green university

Cons

Low pay for the industry. Lots of gossip. Leadership will talk negatively about you to the whole region. Very poor communication from all corporate employees. As a third part management they allow partnerships with horrible owners that refuse to pay bills and have any care for the residents. Lack of leadership and problem solving. If an issue comes up they will only tell you it is a problem and make no effort to help you rectify it. Promotions based on personal relations over performance.

Pros

Unfortunately, I cannot provide any pros based on my experience.

Cons

Village Green is easily the worst company I have ever worked for. The organization operates in complete chaos with deeply unethical leadership, zero accountability, and an absolutely toxic culture from the top down. Employees are treated as disposable, constantly misled, overworked, and blamed for failures created by incompetent management. Fear, favoritism, retaliation, and dishonesty were normalized daily. The company showed a shocking disregard for professionalism, employee wellbeing, operational standards, and resident trust. Turnover was extreme for a reason — competent employees do not stay. Leadership consistently protected themselves instead of fixing serious issues, and the environment became mentally draining and impossible to thrive in. I would strongly discourage anyone from working here or trusting this company with their career. In my experience, this organization should not be managing people, properties, or teams at the scale it does.
