Pros

Time off is good, and sales training is top notch.

Cons

Working at Village Green for two years, I was able to see a lot of changes take place thru the company. Village Green prides themselves in transparency and being a top places to work. Unfortunately, I did not see either of these in my tenure with village Green. When bonus time came around we as a team were told bonuses and raises were going to be low due to our corporate housing not making a profit the previous year. It turned out to be a lie and that the department failed to plan for the year in their budgets. Secondly, the biggest frustration with this company is the lack of support from leadership, for example. You had to defend yourself instead of being defended. Thirdly, my position came with zero growth which had been otherwise stated in the interview process. Your pay at this organization is likely well below market.

Pros

Unfortunately, I cannot provide any pros based on my experience.

Cons

Village Green is easily the worst company I have ever worked for. The organization operates in complete chaos with deeply unethical leadership, zero accountability, and an absolutely toxic culture from the top down. Employees are treated as disposable, constantly misled, overworked, and blamed for failures created by incompetent management. Fear, favoritism, retaliation, and dishonesty were normalized daily. The company showed a shocking disregard for professionalism, employee wellbeing, operational standards, and resident trust. Turnover was extreme for a reason — competent employees do not stay. Leadership consistently protected themselves instead of fixing serious issues, and the environment became mentally draining and impossible to thrive in. I would strongly discourage anyone from working here or trusting this company with their career. In my experience, this organization should not be managing people, properties, or teams at the scale it does.
