Pros

Not really any pros unless your a regional employee , corporate employee or apart of the upper managment minions.

Cons

- favoritism is real at Village Green - if your not the clingy type you will not go far - Absolutely no support - Horrible work/life balance- - Communication from upper management is nonexistent - Corporate doesn't not step in until the problem is too big - the point finger on where the problem is. - horrible accounts payable - you will have vendors calling you every day - Lots of training- you will think you need a 10 min sales call, lots of snack in the office and free stuff like gift card to get a rental. - Lots of training- you will learn everything on how to do your bosses job but no real class work on how it’s done correctly. Just the half version on how it’s suppose to be done - Lots of training- lots of class taught by the same person that teaches the same thing each time. - You will always feel replaceable - Micromanagement - have another spreadsheet if you will - The marketing director they hire are clueless- of course they learned from the classes that retaught the same thing over and over. No a gift card does not get someone to apply. - area director - what’s that? They run them so thin you may never see them. -

Pros

Unfortunately, I cannot provide any pros based on my experience.

Cons

Village Green is easily the worst company I have ever worked for. The organization operates in complete chaos with deeply unethical leadership, zero accountability, and an absolutely toxic culture from the top down. Employees are treated as disposable, constantly misled, overworked, and blamed for failures created by incompetent management. Fear, favoritism, retaliation, and dishonesty were normalized daily. The company showed a shocking disregard for professionalism, employee wellbeing, operational standards, and resident trust. Turnover was extreme for a reason — competent employees do not stay. Leadership consistently protected themselves instead of fixing serious issues, and the environment became mentally draining and impossible to thrive in. I would strongly discourage anyone from working here or trusting this company with their career. In my experience, this organization should not be managing people, properties, or teams at the scale it does.
