Pros

I started with Village Green in the manager in training program. I graduated from college and knew I wanted to be in business but really wasn't sure what avenue I should take with my degree. VillageGreen was recommended to me and the company fit like a glove. With hard work and dedication, I participated in due diligences, transitions and training just within my first 3 months with the company. I have voluntarily moved 5 time in four years and have been promoted roughly every year due to in place programs designed to allow an associate to excel. I know I will be with VillageGreen for a long time because it is now my career, livelihood, and a family like atmosphere I've grown to love. I have complete respect and pride for the vision of the company because they take care of their people.

Cons

VillageGreen should always consider its people and circumstances instead of policy. In some cases this occurs, but through some recent changes of empowerment this is sure to be a better practice.

Unfortunately, I cannot provide any pros based on my experience.

Cons

Village Green is easily the worst company I have ever worked for. The organization operates in complete chaos with deeply unethical leadership, zero accountability, and an absolutely toxic culture from the top down. Employees are treated as disposable, constantly misled, overworked, and blamed for failures created by incompetent management. Fear, favoritism, retaliation, and dishonesty were normalized daily. The company showed a shocking disregard for professionalism, employee wellbeing, operational standards, and resident trust. Turnover was extreme for a reason — competent employees do not stay. Leadership consistently protected themselves instead of fixing serious issues, and the environment became mentally draining and impossible to thrive in. I would strongly discourage anyone from working here or trusting this company with their career. In my experience, this organization should not be managing people, properties, or teams at the scale it does.
