Pros
Colleagues at branch level and the quality of the product and services are what have kept me in the role. If you can bring in the sales numbers, then the monthly pay can be quite decent (however, with the amount of effort and time you have to put in, it often feels like the pay isn't enough).
Cons
Poor management at all levels. Sales staff are looked at as numbers and not employee and are therefore not looked after. Each branch in the UK is like a conveyor belt of people being hired and fired. Management often aren't truthful or clear about the reality of what is required for the role. The security consultant role is a commission only role (despite the fact that the company make it sound like there is a monthly salary). Promises of company perks (like company car, target based gifts, company meals, etc) are often dangled like a carrot but rarely are they delivered as promised. It will be your responsibility to make sure your commission is paid properly. Some of the colleagues at branch level have saved the company culture, otherwise the culture isn't great. The list goes on....
