Pros

Market leading product. Possibility of earning great money if you are willing to work a lot for it.

Cons

Concerns Verisure Field Sales, Denmark. The first salary you get at the company is considered a loan, which you have to pay back, when you leave. It is also so little that you will need a buffer to even afford it. There is no base salary. It is 100% commission. There is a so-called "guaranteed" salary if everything fails (or if you sell to many of your alarms with too much discount), but your commission plan starts from 0. Before you start to get meetings from in-house you have to prove yourself as a salesperson (it is also a tactic for ensuring that even if they hire people unskilled for the job, there is a good chance to at least get a few customers on this account.) The environment is very competitive, some consultants have been known to steal sales from one another, but what's worse is that you are also competing against the company itself for customers. The average length of time a sales person survives in Fields Sales is 3 months. I have worked for the company for 8 months and as such I am one of the oldest in my branch (among top 5) . You only earn money on the actual sold/installed alarm, meaning if you are not careful you can spend a lot of time working for free (this will probably apply even if you are careful).
