Pros

It's better than flipping burgers.

Cons

A very hierarchical organization, with an incredible amount of internal politics with a bureaucratic, slow moving, top-heavy management. Senior management expects you to be deferential, conformist and the only way to get on is to suck up, Payrises are consistently below inflation. The attitude of HR is "if you don't like it you can leave" (this is a literal quote from an HR manager commenting about a group with a staff turnover of over 30%); to senior management you are simply a cog in the machinery and you can be substituted at any time (no matter how many years of experience, degrees or qualifications you may have)

Pros

Love the people, great mentors, wonderful team members. Very welcoming office and great relationships. I love coming to work!

Cons

Under resourced and underpaid for the skills I bring to the table, which contributes to retention issues

Pros

Working with brands you grew up with is really exciting! The people I have met have all been amazing as well!

Cons

Everyone I have talked to are overworked and feel underpaid and despite the amount of work they do, there is no recognition or appreciation. Upper management is a mess and UL is constantly restructuring, often going from new BACK to the old structure while simultaneously letting people go leaving more people overworked. While most people are amazing, there are a few micromanagers where expectations are unknown. In addition, the lack of communication is awful. Often, I hear about certain cuts through the vine rather than directly from the people involved
