Pros

High availability, decent pay for a retail job. If you have open availability, you can get a lot of hours in so if you want that, you got it. It was very to end up with like $500/wk there if you just take the shifts they give you. Clothing discounts were nice and they actually had 00 jeans

Cons

Excess of hours if you're one of the ones who is available. Head manager was really great, but one of the other managers would often cut me out of my breaks despite company policy requiring I get them. Like I worked a 12 hour shift and when I asked her if I could finally have my break after saying no to extending that to a 14hr shift, she scoffed at me and gave breaks to everyone else except me. If you don't have kids or school, you will be asked to work a lot of hours. I only intended to pick it up just for some extra cash during the holidays, but would often end up working over 30hrs each week because a majority of the other people hired where teenagers unwilling to work evenings, mornings, or weekends. If you want the hours, it's great, but it's hard to have anyone else cover a shift for you if you don't want it.

Pros

Very supportive team. The best thing about Tommy was my coworkers. I could not have asked for a better group of people to work with and learn from. Also really good benefits for the industry, though I think they got worse for new hires during my time there.

Cons

Upper management often felt reactive, though unfortunately, I doubt it's much better elsewhere. I think that the retail industry overall has had some difficult years due to macro conditions outside anyone in the industry's/company's control.
