Pros

Remote 1st Line site :-Good alround IT ,Mechanical ,Hydraulics, training and simulation PFI site. If you enjoy being on the beck ,call and fast reaction to recovery of a sim then you will enjoy . Each fault can be quite testing at times to a newcomer .Manning levels are tight so you must know what your doing as you may be working on your own a lot of the time and be answerable to the managers who count the beans on site.so can be stressful.

Cons

The simulator is getting long in the tooth to keep serviceable and being a PFI site,it is a strain on the engineers on the ground to keep it serviceable.Getting engineers of suitable caliber are now near enough an extinct species.Money is very tight,Promotion is via dead persons shoes on the site. Secondary jobs usully involve pat testing,Coshh ,health & safety ,building maintenance which includes plant room minor repairs i.e belts ,motors and montioring chillers so Jack of all trades

Pros

*This only applies to the Montgomeryville location* None. Used to be a great place to work. I enjoyed the work I did and the various teams I worked with.

Cons

*This only applies to the Montgomeryville location* -Health benefits have gotten worse each year. -Constant layoffs. -Changed from an 8 hour 3 shift day, 5 days a week to a 10 hour 2 shift day, 4 days out of the week. The idea was to save money on overtime, then they started asking the employees to stay the 4 hours between shifts. Then they started asking the employees to work the extra 3 days. Then they made the employees sign a waiver, making the 3 days mandatory when needed. -Flat raises, everyone gets the same raise. -Lower management no longer cares -Upper management is too focused on vanity projects or no longer cares
