Pros
-Competent, driven people. -Relevant, noteworthy cause that is especially exciting right now -Fast-paced work environment where your ideas can and do make an impact -Positive work environment (in general) -Managers have a good head on their shoulders -Entrepreneurial environment (not for everybody)
Cons
-Less name recognition -Work-life/balance is difficult when surrounded by -Working remotely has its pros and cons -Decent amount of travel (could be a pro, depending on the individual) -Often feels like you're putting out fires, may be unnecessarily so -Extremely high turnover of staff (for a host of reasons) -Promotions or recognition sometimes is unduly handed out (everyone's competent, so sometimes it's a crapshoot who rises up) -PD and coaching is not really that existent
