Pros
Working at TFA is rewarding because the employees are motivated by the mission and look to cooperate and do what is best for the children being taught by the TFA corps members. Staff are typically talented and engaged. Solid team culture. There is a lot of opportunity for gregarious and talented leaders. They have been flexible in the past with remote work arrangements.
Cons
As a non-profit, the salaries are not on the high end of the spectrum concerning typical back office roles. Due to the inherent struggle of raising money as a non-profit, the organization runs a very tight ship and has been slowly shrinking its central office in order to become leaner.
