Pros

Tastemade gives you the opportunity to be somewhat creative while learning a lot about brand strategy, content creation, and digital media. You will absolutely adore your immediate day-to-day coworkers, and the creative production studio space is the best part of the company. Creatively, you're never doing the same thing twice. Overall I'm thankful for the connection, friendships, and experiences I've had at Tastemade.

Cons

It's a revolving door of firing and hiring, and is not based off of performance, but based off of a spreadsheet and an expectation to sell the company. Outdated best practices (that usually are not followed to begin with) prevent you from creating original content that hits. Higher management doesn't do much but point fingers and say "We're changing." Don't expect a C-Suite staff member to get to know you, or stick around for that matter. The staffing/hiring process is seemingly backwards, and only makes creating content harder and more frustrating. It's an advertising agency at heart. Not a tech company. Not a network. There's no incentive to create something new or pitch something new anymore. There used to be. Staff responsibilities are constantly being passed off to freelancers, who receive no OT. A clear Us vs. Them mentality, staff vs. production (and post-production feels it the most).
