Pros

The benefits are excellent. There’s a positive outlook for the business trajectory overall. Managers do not micromanage.

Cons

The Enterprise Account Executive role is a tremendous uphill battle if your assigned accounts aren’t properly balanced with legit active customers and new logo accounts. While your success is mostly determined on you and your hard work, a good portion of your success is also determined on how effective your manager is and how well you are trained by them at doing things the way things are done at T-Mobile. Annual quotas for reps aren’t objective. They are “dynamic” and subjective quotas based on a previous quarter’s performance. You will find different reps having different quotas here. If you are considering this role, you may want to reconsider. There are other sales roles that pay way more for much less stress. If you cannot produce business, you will be written up on a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) and eventually be fired if you aren’t trying. Ultimately, you are just a number here and judged by your numbers, no matter how much they say they “appreciate you.”

Leadership Scheduling Work/life balance Stress Broken everything - half of the tools and resources don’t work No room to grow your career anymore unless you suck up. If you’re blunt and honest you’ll be an outcast - they’ve fostered an environment where they only want cheerleaders. Constantly changing goal posts Frequent restructuring
