Pros

You get a basic salary and health benefits.

Cons

T-Mobile is a total retail oriented company. They treat SMB and Enterprise AEs like retail store kids. Low talent employees with little to no solution selling sales skills. It’s all about slamming the customer with sims. T-Mobile makes their AEs cold call pizza stores all day for 2-5 lines. Zero solution selling only sells on price. Really terrible for a talented salesperson. This job is for low skill boiler room cold callers that just want to slam sims. Most new hires are right out of the retail stores with zero B2B sales experience, no solution product knowledge. I honestly don’t know how any business owner can take a T-Mobile AE seriously.

Pros

Wireless service discount Decent vision insurance Co-workers

Cons

Leadership Scheduling Work/life balance Stress Broken everything - half of the tools and resources don’t work No room to grow your career anymore unless you suck up. If you’re blunt and honest you’ll be an outcast - they’ve fostered an environment where they only want cheerleaders. Constantly changing goal posts Frequent restructuring
