Pros
There are some great, fun people that work here. Good location in the city. Catered lunch a couple days a week. Free races. You get lots of swag and free clothing, shoes, etc.
Cons
The pay is humiliating. Upper management is a joke. Certain people are in positions that they have absolutely no business being in, and they only got there because they pushed, shoved, or manipulated their way into those roles. 10 days of PTO is all you get, and even then, you are made to feel incredibly guilty for ANY time taken out of the office, whether it's PTO, taking a long lunch for a doctor's appointment, and you can forget about working from home. Even during the blizzards, you were expected to make it into the office, whether or not your trains were running, or it was a dangerous drive to work, no matter how long it took you. Extremely inefficient if you ask me. The CEO is completely unrealistic and considers it a privilege for you to work for the company, and doesn't understand why more employees aren't falling asleep at their desks from working 20 hour days. In addition to being expected to stay late every night at the office, if you work a race weekend, you can expect to work 20 hour days on 3 hours of sleep per night (or less), and you will only get ONE comp day for a 40 hour work weekend. And again, you will be guilt-tripped if you take it. Overall, extremely toxic, demeaning, demotivating environment, and you will never be promoted or moved up unless you're a bully and shove yourself in there. It's a shame, because there are some great people there, but they will continue to lose those people if they don't make some changes.
