Pros

They work on some exciting and historic projects, Used to have a great culture of inclusion and passion for and from employees, As a whole, tries to be green and innovative.

Cons

Every 3 or so years, there is a mass culling and all the historically underrepresented minorities like women, working mums, POC, and more get gutted. - Coincidently as they are in lower-paid roles. I've seen many long-term and loyal employees get booted in this way. Lots of 'untouchables' in the workplace, including some of the management or favored individuals who are allowed to get away with anything they like without consequence. Senior management is an 'old boys club' They all know each other, go on trips together and you need to be in it to win it type vibe. I've seen many long-term employees leave due to the significant culture shifts moving towards more of a negative place to work. Lots of hiring from the outside and bringing in harsh/cutthroat/culture-clashing management that cause more harm than good. Not enough growing of their own in many aspects. Would hate to think how many NDAs the company has issued for things such as discrimination against working mothers or mothers on maternity leave and various other grievances and situations. Often complaints, concerns and challenging certain behaviours felt like screaming into a void and was returned by gaslighting. Witnessed a lot of pigeonholing of talented employees who wanted to progress and were blocked. Others are allowed to progress as they are favoured. More progression on sites rather than for office staff.

Pros

They have a lot of work to do

Cons

Absent culture, management system, and very behind IT program. Everyone is only out for themselves. Massive issue when corporate meets construction, managers don’t understand scopes, staffing plans, decent business practice, etc.
