Pros
I worked for Skanska for almost 3.5 years. During my time at Skanska, I helped with scheduling, cost control, and field engineering. The size of the project helps to have a big project on your resume and helps with networking with multiple individuals on the project. My time at Skanska helped me learn as a beginner at Skanska but it was a lot of self-learning process for me.
Cons
Being an immigrant the company didn't treat me equally to the other engineers on the project. I asked my managers to transfer me to different departments to have a better learning curve but they didn't pay any heed to it. They were really bad with informing me about my visa process and the HR department was unresponsive and careless. My ex-boss before I gave my 2-week notice told me that I should listen to the upper management as they control my visa paperwork.
