Pros
Worked on 'marquee' type project- 7 building mixed use development. Very exciting project for the city. However, the day to day operations were not worth the pride or excitement of the project. As one of my co-workers put it, 'this is where dreams come to die.'
Cons
- Project awarded for less than value of the work - Project awarded on a short timeline - Poor executive management - Management was not worth their words- could not be trusted, Always a smoke show. - One night, management actually locked up our belongs (including keys), so we could not leave. We were forced to stayed on the job site until 11pm, so we could clean up after subcontractors before executives arrived the day. This is just one example of the deplorable, unethical conduct of managers. - Great opportunities with the company if you can stomach working there long enough. 11 months was 10 months too long for me.
