Pros

- Work/life balance is really high ( it's the best in all 8 companies I've been) - There is no stress on your shoulders - Colleagues are very friendly and helpful - At least 2 days a month you were spending it doing some type of training - Managers are very good on leadership skills, very laid down, down to earth - Great culture ( it's the best in all 8 companies I've been) - Best company at building project management experience

Cons

- They didn't take into consideration my career progression desires and that was the reason for leaving. - They recognized I am very good with BIM and software and they wanted me to develop into that direction but the salaries paid inside the business were extremely low. Even though I told them I want to go into project management, they were giving me more and more BIM work. - Project managers were paid very well but the engineers were around approx. 28k when most of the small consultancies pay 45k in the region. Some technicians where paid 14k-17k which is the poverty limit in Cambridge. - They did make differences between foreigners and their British counterparts. Most of the foreigners were extremely underpaid and there were almost no career progression opportunities for them. - For an experienced highway engineer with technical skills, they do quite easy projects in the design department
