Pros
A lot of learning possibilities.
Cons
- Expect you to learn it the hard way (by yourself), as most veteran (worked for 20years to 35 years) will not share much with you. - Don't expect to be given any travel opportunities to learn from other SATS subsidiary and further your career growth. - Really slow in career advancement aspect, the management only promote their "Favorite" and condemn those they despised. For newbie (entry level), be are expected to remain as the same post for the first 3 years, then after they might consider recommending a promotion for you. - Those low graded staff are all been "shield" by the union, in the end most of the mangers/executives were be under the mercy of low graded staff as the mangers/executives may face the music end of the day. - Too much time spent and wasted in playing organizational politics for both high and low level which will impact the Goals and Vision of the company. - Just be aware not to antagonize any management's "Favorite" or you will be place in cold storage or given more nonsensical tasks to handle. -
