Pros
Can find some truly good people but most aren't at the management level. You'll gain a lot of experience as it's such a skeleton staff and have more responsibility than you'll find elsewhere.
Cons
Leadership is more focused on saving themselves and their own bottom line than their departments and the company. They've put employees through long grueling hours with outside consultants to try to improve company culture for zero meaningful changes to be implemented. The principles they say drive the company are smoke and mirrors and aren't actually implemented from the top down making for a confusing work culture with lack of overall clear direction. Until they get a leadership overhaul, things won't improve creating a lack of trust in an environment that needs trust when you work that many hours in an industry where you work in it for passion, not for money. HR also doesn't have true authority to step in and create meaningful change as it's dictated by a select few VPs.
