Pros

- Will take anyone and everyone that is willing to work for peanuts, so a good place to start fresh out of school while still living with your parents. - Management does not care about bad behavior. You can swear, come in late, wear sweatpants or skirts (big no no in a lab) no one cares.

Cons

- The work environment is dangerous and bad for your mental health. People are under so much pressure all the time, they scream at you, at each other, and run you over so they can yet their work done. - They offload a lot of work on some people, and other people get close to no work. I have had to argue with my supervisor on numerous occasions about the unrealistic expectations. Thankfully they are not supervisor anymore. - If you want to pursue a career in QC, you need to leave as soon as possible, as they will not put you to work on instrumentation. This is the only company I have seen that has separate departments for instrumentation. Not having experience in this area will put you at a huge disadvantage in the job market, as every other company will put people on instrumentation and expect you to have that experience too. - Management doesn't pay you for overtime during probation, but pressures you to stay in late to finish the ridiculous amount of work they give you. - They do not train new hires at all, they just throw you in the deep end and then treat you like an idiot if you make a mistake, which you 100% will because expectations and procedures are never clear. - The pay is garbage unless you haggle hard. You will not be able to afford to move out of your parents' house. - There is serious favoritism. - There are always things getting in your way from completing your work. Equipment is old and fails often, the lab often runs out of supplies/reagents, sometimes QA hasn't done their part etc. The facility is very disjointed.
