Flight x hour pay was ok, you come back home after work, 3 days off, some collegues are very nice. 1200 euros new joiners allowance. But not if you leave the company before 1 year.
Cons
No chance to have a permanent contract after years in the base you want to be even if you stay there 10 years in a renewed fixed term contract, no extra hours paid, no sick pay, standby days not paid, no food or drink and only on a standby staff travel and have to pay for it, sometimes moore expensive than a pax normal ticket. The work clima is competitive between collegues, fighting for on board sales bonus, bullying sometimes or just stressed people. Long hours 4 sectors most of the time wake 4am morning and back home 6 pm or from 11.00 am till 12.00 midnight. You have to pay the course and all expensive. No transports paid or benefit at all. Ive never been rewarded for nothing even if i had good sales skills or worked for long days, never had a complimentary letter, nothing, management really totally don't care, only letters to report you if you do a little thing stupid, if you get sick to many times with a medical certificate, you are punished with no christmas or summer annual leave, no base transfer opportunity, or having a meeting with management in Dublin. In general it is only a punishment environment the only way to have small benefits its by recomendation or be very friend of management. No basic salary, that mean 0 euros if you are based in a seasonal base expect minimum of 3 month without flying i had 5, standby months only 1 day of work in one month.
