Pros
During my time here I met a whole range of people and it was a great experience. You were given a months roster which was good because you can make plans on your days off.
Cons
Training was extensive and expected to cover living in London for about 2 months. Pay was deducted every month due to covering the costs of the course and the uniform (which you have to hand back anyway when you leave even though you've paid for it). The company hires anyone and everyone. On my flights I would be working with other crew members who barely spoke English, those who had a bad mental health record and someone with a heart condition. Seemed slightly dodgy considering the whole examination is in English and they have to undergo a medical check. The roster was a week of earlies and a week on lates which wasn't the best because you could never have a set routine. Your body would finally get used to waking up at 3 in the morning/going to sleep at 6pm for you to then alter it so you could last until past midnight. Killer! Senior management didn't really care and had no time for compassionate leave no matter what the circumstances. I was made to feel like a minority because I was English. The staff are from all over Europe and so they would all be quite clicky sometimes and speak in their own language when they were with their pals.
