Pros
-Ability to work remotely -Experience was valuable -Unlimited PTO in some positions
Cons
- Management is extremely disconnected from the actual work being performed under them. -Change Management is sloppy, if not non-existent - Over-all culture of Project Services is that of a free for all. -Processes have been written with a very vaguely to avoid deviation. However, the vageness causes a bigger issue when training an almost completely brand new team. There is little to no guidance when learning how to successfully execute and manage studies for high profile sponsors. -Management is caught in "fire-fighting mode" and has no time or energy to listen to their employees - Work-life balance is not a priority. You will be expected to sacrifice your family and health, in order to make sure sponsors are happy - Ultimeately, the organization is very immature in Project Management fundamentals. When asked who the stakeholders are at a portfolio level, management either did not know, or was unwilling to provide background. -Questions that are unknown at an executive level often go unanswered, resulting in no direction
