      Pros

      You are surrounded by smart, passionate people who genuinely care about what they do. Decisions are made quickly and while the business is growing, you are not held down by lots of bureaucracy. Your career naturally progresses as the business grows and there is a lot of opportunity for formal promotion and growth too. It is also great to work for the market leader in a sector that is growing at pace.

      It is super fast paced, which won't be for everyone.

      Pros

      The only “good” thing is the small percentage of new equipment and that some gyms are 24 hours.

      Cons

      Management is unfair, cutting hours and expecting a single worker to handle the entire gym. Incredible staff are undervalued, while third-party cleaners and side services pretend to solve problems they don’t. Members are chaotic, shifts are impossible, and yet leadership refuses to hire properly. Think smarter, not cheaper.
