Pros

Nice friendly colleagues ready to jelp out to get projects going. Also flexible. Nothing else good to add.

Cons

I've never come across such a poor employer as Philips. This company is going downhill fast. Also lacks compassion. Unprofessional and irresponsible HR who shys away from intimidating and challenging situations. Does not care whatsoever to listen to employees. Same goes for the management team in Amsterdam. Poor leadership management and lack of direction. Management makes no effort to back up employees instead a pushover. Also makes no effort to support employees. Cumbersome processes. Reactive company and very slow to react to market. Care more about what is done and not appreciative of how it's done. Alot of destructing going on and jobs may be taken away in advance without proposing a good package, unappreciative of enployees' year of contribution.

Pros

The people in non- upper management roles that work there are fantastic. Great sense of community onsite and the culture champions are consistently looking for ways to make work life better.

Cons

Very poor communication on the strategy for the business unit. Leadership publicly promotes innovation and new ideas to be presented but then those ideas are shot down or penalized in private by current upper management. The business unit leadership says that don't want excuses for project delays but will then decide to do 3 major layoffs in the first two quarters with no transition plan, no support for gap in resources and no expectations to delayed progress.
