A joke of a company - Anonymous employee Paddy Power Betfair Employee Review

Where do I begin? The company's management is, I believe, both sexist and racist. Many of the middle managers lack academic qualifications and are only employed to enforce the company's bullying and intimidatory tactics. Shop staff are treated abysmally, often having to work long hours (from 07:30 until 22:30 in some cases) and/or on their own. People are asked to come in on their day off. There is precious little support from managers. As for career progression, forget it.... especially if you are from an ethnic minority.
