Fun place to work, always something to do and customers tend to be decent individuals. You get unionized after 3 months and have dental & vision benefits even if your only part-time. Schedule is very flexible if you don't have much responsibility in the store. Paid holiday and paid blizzard/inclement weather if you were scheduled but the store was closed.
Cons
Cruddy raises every year, being promoted to a head cashier yields about an extra 30 cents to your paycheck, bad presentations and merchandising can make products sometimes tough to sell. Ordering items for customers is pushed in the stores, yet the shipping can take forever. We're told to say "5-7 business days" but some customers have not gotten their packages until two months later.
