Pros
Great first job to learn the ups and downs of retail. Seems as though your experience will depend on which store you work at. I've worked with multiple people from other stores and they all seem friendly, so meeting new co-workers shouldn't be an issue. They usually approach you first if you're new. The assistant general managers I've worked with were all great and were fun to work with. The gossip is fun as well, even if it's about you. Easy to go from part time to full time.
Cons
Terrible upper management. Berates and micromanages you. Seen the best workers quit because of upper management. Always finds an excuse to yell at you about. Takes a while to get your first paycheck. If it's your first retail job, you will learn how stupid customers are and will learn to respect other retail workers wherever you go. You will also learn that the customer is NOT always right.
