Over managed. Each department at Knoxfield only has 3-5 employees and each have a department manager. I worked at Miele for serval years, when I left there where only 3 employees in my department. My manager was mostly friendly, at times he could be nasty. My advise is if you are starting to work here, keep management at a professional distance, they are never who you think they are. To give a little more background about the company business structure, since 2018 and inline with Miele Germany headquarters initiative, all subsideries are cutting costs, basically the company's new modo is 'fit for growth', it used to be 'fit for purpose'. All the high performing employees jumped ship during 2018 and 2019. In 2020 hundreds of long serving employees have been retrenched while senior managers with 120k+ salary stay on payroll, in a team meeting they referred to this as trimming the Fat as to become more cost effective and agile in the market. 🙄
