So much potential - Stylist Mejuri Employee Review

Dress Code is oppressive- constantly changing policies, expecting workers living on low wages to keep updating their wardrobes on a whim. Want you to look elevated but are vague and inconsistent about what that means. Wants to promote creativity but you can only wear black. (Open it up a few colors omg!) Bonus is laughable- expect you to work hard to achieve goals with no incentives. Bonus is so small you barely notice on your check. We would definitely be motivated to work towards a store credit so we can actually afford the jewelry. No product allowance- expect you to wear only Mejuri jewelry but only provide a one time, very small credit. For this, the employee discount should be greater than it is. Corporate is out of touch- visits from random corporate members always lead to judgmental interactions from people who’ve never worked retail and enjoy WFH benefits. We also get paid only twice a month which is very challenging on an hourly retail wage- but make sure to update your wardrobe with those stretched funds!
