Pros
- Fast growing company, lots of growth opportunities both vertical and horizontal - Company acknowledges talent and is willing to take the risk and cost of ramp up if have a background that doesn't match 1:1 with the role - Awesome people, so far I've only found motivated professionals willing to help and get things done - Average base pay (considering other foreign currency paying options out there) but nice extra perks, such as EOY bonus, health insurance and vacations extras. In-company English classes or cash extra to take them with a teacher of your choice, during worktime! Also a PTO package so absurdly good I thought it was typo before clarifying it during the first interview (30 PTOs + AR Holidays + half-day the workday just before long weekends + "slow down" period towards the end of the year). All in all when considering rate in per hour worked basis, then pay it's actually in the higher end of the range. - Good, and company encouraged, life-work balance. 7hrs + 1hr lunch - Clear roadmaps - Career path that takes into consideration whether going into managerial role or tech referent, with equivalencies in payment - Company follows and enforces good development practices
Cons
- Shift is fixed 10 to 18 ART. Can't be negotiated. - Company grew too fast and it's still carrying over old systems that didn't scale well with the needs of such a fast growth. Actions to mitigate or move from these are being taken though.
