Pros
The people actually DOING the work
Cons
Where to start?? New C-Suite of 6+ who think they know everything - they came from our competitor and there’s a reason why we were always number one. The PS VP only wants to set structure in place that he has seen or done before - not an out of the box thinker and almost never visible or available to his larger teams. They continue to cut benefits, even taking away benefits from long tenure employees. Continue to have extremely low merits, if any, they decided this year that they were going to do performance reviews based on the expectations for the upcoming year in order to have the correct number of people at Not met or needing development status to allow them to save money. They have been talking about product enhancements and new features since I started almost 4 years ago with nothing to show for it. There is a lot of over promising and under delivering and our customers feel it. If they don’t start caring more about their customers and their employees and focus less on the corner offices there won’t be anyone left to actually do the work!!! That is unless they lay off all of the hard workers first, we have had four layoffs in four years. There is zero room to grow and they do not prioritize tenure and job performance when it comes to promotions. Bonus plan is now based on renewals and annual EBITDA - which individuals have little control over as some of those factors are controlled by executive leadership’s direction. Layoffs of people who were important to teams and GREAT people managers when others who everyone can see is not effective in their role stayed
