Pros

Remote work (but you can't expense the monthly internet bill) $25 Gym reimbursement (which is laughable but ok) Mental Health Days (You need them and then some)

Cons

The executive leadership team lacks diversity and empathy; it’s dominated by white men, with minimal representation of women or people of color in senior roles. Leadership prioritizes only a handful of marquee customers (think Meta-level accounts); if your portfolio isn’t one of them, you’ll get little to no internal support. Cross-functional collaboration is fragmented and inefficient, creating constant bottlenecks. Severance is minimal (two weeks) and handled with an air of condescension. They will lay you off/ terminate you before the commission pay run so even if you closed a deal while employed, they will not pay you for it. Be cautious if senior leaders suddenly take an interest in your deals or materials; this often precedes reorganization or termination. Frequent leadership turnover causes constant reshuffling of teams, managers, and priorities, making it hard to execute consistently. Sales leadership tends to champion a small inner circle, leaving most sellers without meaningful visibility or advocacy. Employee experience varies dramatically by gender and race; many high performers are replaced by less qualified men from leadership’s network. Clients often express frustration over instability, frequent account turnover, lack of communication, and inconsistent delivery. Unless you’re on the “named AE” team, you’re expected to serve as both AE and CSM, which leads to chronic overwork and burnout. The Solution Consulting org is under-resourced, disengaged, and rarely supports deals unless everything is pre-packaged for them. Overall, the stress, politics, and inequity far outweigh the compensation or career development.

Pros

Flexible time off, inclusive culture, autonomy in role, great pay and benefits

Cons

Not a lot of opportunity for growth on a small consulting team. Time sheet process was atrocious but perhaps it’s improved since I left.
