Pros
Free food sometimes. That’s really it.
Cons
-Pay never goes up, raises are very few and far between -equipment isn’t serviced as often as it should, only when it breaks, which is dangerous for employees -You’ll rarely hear about what you did right, only criticisms constantly -company that will cut people’s pay and claim they can’t afford raises, but then will show off money in a massive party or with whatever fancy new thing they bought that wasn’t even needed. -Anytime someone leaves, they take their duties and add them onto someone else without ever increasing their pay -in one email will talk about how they’re struggling and we’re all in this together (insert whatever corporate feel good phrase you want), and then the next one will be about all the new locations they bought. -if you’re not above a certain pay grade, you have nowhere to go in the company, will get treated awful, and will never have your pay increase -employees are treated like machinery, not humans. They’re replaceable and their health doesn’t matter -all health plans that are actually reasonably priced compared to wages are all high deductible garbage. -shady. As. Hell. -covid response was laughable
