Cons
Unfortunately the company utilizes nearly 100% seniority based job bidding, job placement, overtime opportunities, or just the ability to work your assigned schedule. As to my best understanding, seniority trumps skill, performance, attendence, business need (in most cases) which is unfortunate. Also, in 2019 alone, there has had to be an adjustment of some kind to my payroll check 12 times. I have been paid too much on 2 occasions and the other 10 I have been short. As much as $400+ short. With over 1000 employees I'm sure it's difficult but I wonder how many other folks have experienced this. I had a check for a week of work that I cleared $17.62.....im sorry what!? I went to Mahle because it has been a flagship of work and earning potential in my community for 40 years but as of now (several contributing factors outside company control i.e. tarrifs) getting 40 hrs a week has not been the story in 2019.
