      Every few months there is a layoff scare, no job security, no exposure to future plans, always budget issues on anything you want to do

      CenturyLink has a history of growth through acquisitions. As the needs of the business change to meet market demands; we must evaluate our workforce and transform accordingly, to ensure we are able to meet the markets needs and remain an industry leader. Unfortunately, at times that means lay-offs and/or reorganizations, are needed to drive our transformation. Those decisions are difficult and are not something we take lightly.

      Easy to learn, manageable schedule, supportive management

      Cons

      Changes in systems with many malfunctions, confusing workflows, policies set with little guidance (like figure it out yourself)

      Pros

      Good pay, great benefits, great people to work with, boss is great, etc.

      Cons

      Company is undergoing transformation, so it's a bit chaotic. Have to work with old stuff and new stuff at the same time. Hopefully that will change as we transform further.
