      Pros

      Very little pros to working for CenturyLink

      Cons

      The company is in over their head! Upper management has very little faith in managers or supervisors - they macro manage all employees rather than trusting them to lead their teams. Very cheap, pay is way lower than it was with Qwest. The company favors their Legacy CenturyLink employees. The future doesn't look bright for Legacy Qwest employees. Upper management doesn't follow company principles.

      The people are friendly and helpful, the work is engaging, deadlines are flexible, collaboration is smooth

      Cons

      Moves slow at times, contractors are unreliable, projects can be delayed or outright scrapped after being worked on

      Pros

      work life balance, excellent time off so long as manager doesn’t micromanage/track and limit FTO, nice people, leadership has turned the business around.

      Cons

      No pay raises even with great performance review (5years with zero raise) No career growth/progression - been on a high-performing team for 5 years and not one person on the team has been progressed or promoted during that time. Little opportunity for career advancement and growth New jobs within the company are going to external hires, not much grwoth for current employees
