Cons
The company has a very evident office morale issue. The condition of the office morale has steadily deteriorated since splitting into own organization within Koch Industries. Koch companies have a common set of guiding principles however as KBX Logistics has grown its has come at expense of these principles. The HR team has difficulty managing their friendships with employees and at times the perception is that they do not take legitimate concerns serious if it is concerning one of their friends. Comments/feedback from others regarding the "Boys Club" atmosphere are correct unfortunately. Since inception KBX Logistics has grown more isolated and independent of peer Koch companies which has enabled this behavior to grow more pervasive. Opportunities for career growth seem plentiful on the surface but once you peel back a few layers you will quickly encounter an uphill battle where demonstrated experience, value creation and adherence to company principles do little to compensate for not being within the "Boys Club". Feedback from leadership is lacking, even in the face of requesting feedback due to a lack of reviews it is still difficult to obtain anything constructive beyond you are doing a great job. Furthering this is when trying to explore career planning/growth with leadership I would receive comments along the lines, "I will help you move into whatever role", or "I don't want you to keep doing this same job", or "you are paid too much for what you are doing, I want you in a new role as well" - these comments were never followed by action despite actively scheduling time with leadership.
