Pros

Possible transfer to other companies in the Koch Industries portfolio if desired.

Cons

David Koch. The company is privately held and from what I have seen was run mainly to satisfy his ego. Upper management don't make management decisions so much as make David Koch's ideas come true. When an idea fails, the manager is blamed and fired, so management is in a constant state of near panic. The place very much resembles the fable of the emperor with no clothes. Besides philosophical downsides, there is the low pay, long hours, lack of a plan after Koch gives up control, and the deluge of political emails during campaign seasons.

Pros

Good insurance. The Atlanta office was more flexible with remote/hybrid work

Cons

The politics. People devalue teammates. Constantly changing direction so no meaningful impact can be made. Not a lot of diversity. If you don’t ask how someone’s kids are, you get complaints that you’re cold and difficult. Got there and a reorg killed the reason I was hired and was never provided with any sort of hope of growth opportunities.
