Any work experience is better than none.
Cons
Not much room for advancement. Too much emphasis on Shop Your Way Rewards Cards. Cashiers have no incentive to sell them, and must scan the cards 70% of the time or get micromanaged by manager. Nobody can help that an old lady doesn't have an email address to sign up, yet the scan rate falls below 70%.
