Perfect job for a teenager who doesn't want to their first job to be fast food. Kmart literally hires anybody with a pulse. Use the job for experience, cross-train in multiple departments so you have a better chance of getting a better job. Always follow company policy! I can't stress this enough. If management tells you to go against policy (rewards and credit cards), Don't do it! It will fall back on you. Can be a fun place to work if you have the right coworkers. Nobody cares about this place. From cashiers to management, nobody cares anymore. Also very flexible with schedules, - good work/life balance if you're a kid or college student.
