Pros

Mrs. Storz is generous to her people with vacation and sick days. Health insurance isn't what it used to be but that's in every company looking to make higher profits.

Cons

The Boys Club is unbelievable. The high up Directors love to take the elevator ride on the girls....and the flirting. The women who are willing to sleep around to get ahead love it. We have the worst bullying I've ever seen for managers. And they cover it up well. Directors believe everything they hear from their managers, many of whom are not qualified to be a manager....can't manage a spreadsheet. The people who punch the time clock are just numbers. There is no interest or caring about people from the management team. People on the floor are treated like animals, not humans. No one cares to acknowledge a person, Many managers don't even know their employees by name....but trash people behind their back to the supervisors! If there is an outing to attend, offered by the Director, managers complain they have to let the people attend...or complain how much it costs. mmmm not their wallet. Low morale. No incentive to do more or try to grow....tried that for years. If you look to advance your told "Well, you don't have a degree". But it is o.k. still to do the work. You just can't have the credit or the pay. It is just a job to have if you need benefits. No one really cares if you do a good job or not. Many don't and the hard workers who have a clue and who care clean up the messes and then leave.

Pros

Great benefits and company culture, frequent opportunities to interface with senior leaders and executives.

Cons

Roles and responsibilities are demanding, complex organization to understand, and requires in-office days if you are in proximity to a regional hub.

Pros

Solid steady company, generally nice people and it can help people advance if they so choose.

Cons

Privately owned, so many decisions are made arbitrarily, not always having to be vetted properly. Globally, decisions would be made that would not be in the best interests of the US market. Also, if you're an internal employee, it could be difficult to be promoted/advance within the company. You get stuck with new duties, but no new titles/pay.
