      Great coworkers, terrible management - Category Specialist Jet Employee Review

      Pros

      Nice office and very friendly lower-level associates

      Cons

      Management is unusually young, many are arrogant and only care about their own career trajectory. Performance evaluations are almost 90% based off optics rather than actual job performance. They will promise you the opportunity to try new things but never go through with their promises. Jet has lost its own identity and culture due to the Walmart acquisition. Lots of fire drills, and no clear strategy. People get fired without warning.

      Pros

      The culture was awesome, with one rule (Be Nice) I loved Jet. We kicked some major #$^^ so much so that Walmart bought us and killed us. We had fun, it was like working at an all night rave music and dancing while we worked. hard to describe, you had to be there.

      Cons

      the pay wasn't the best but the benefits more than made up for it. The insurance was fantastic, the fun we had at work was enough to make up for the lack of pay.
