No accountability. Can you get to work on time? Are you able to be reasonably nice to people on the phone? Then you will probably last a while. Supervisors have unlimited PTO and no one in management seems to pay attention to or care who is abusing it. As long as the team stats look good on paper they don't care what you're doing. Team Leads don't have anything to define what they're supposed to do. There's no consistency. Answer questions and take escalated calls. Oh and the only way you are judged on your job is how someone 'perceives' you're doing it. If other team leads are up and walking around no one says anything. Let's not forget the fact that if you're working a night shift (especially if you are flexible enough to do so in leadership) you're pretty much expected to stay with it until you either leave or go to another department. They don't believe in shift bids, and even when they tried, they were accommodating to the ones who work days and the people on nights were still stuck with it. Some managers may care, but their is no more evidence of this in the way the business is being run. Because no one is being held accountable, the good employees do the bare minimum because the bad employees who are skating by are not being held accountable.
