Pros

Clear cut strategic direction and expectations shared with the employees of IT. Regular updates received from Sr Management and queries answered in that session. New technologies and ideas embraced by the IT Director. Hackathon competitions, etc arranged to encourage employees to come up with ideas and be innovative. Cardboard projectors, new mobile apps etc have been built. Innovative work like this keeps the employee satisfaction and motivation high. Individuals growth is planned Good performance is well recognised and rewarded in the monthly, quarterly, annual and spot awards, and this also reflects in the appraisals. Lots of trainings and learning opportunities, if interested, you can grow in the field of your choice be it analytics, mobile apps, other technologies, if benificial to the company. Real paymaster Best of infrastructure, view is superb Concerns (personal and professional) are heard and all the support needed is rendered Good onsite opportunities Team lunches, dinners, outings, parties are cream on the cake UK support to India for innovation and improvements is much needed, and to be driven by India Mgmt as they understand the working mode of the Indian IT companies.

Cons

Work from home may be enabled for IT employees

Pros

People. Culture. Client relationships. JLT Re is a place for really good, talented people who want to develop strong internal and external relationships. JLT Re also encourages thinking outside the box and is looking for new ideas and ways of doing things.

Cons

Flat organization. Low salary bumps for non-producers currently. Internal politics. Your salary is largely dependent on your experience and your manager’s ability to fight for you to get what you deserve up the chain.
