      Pros

      Schedule flexibility (if the girls in the front office like you), variety of shift times, direct deposit every week, great job for students

      Cons

      No discount, management treats employees like they're primed to steal from the company, uneven application of policy (favorite employees get cut more slack, etc, but that happens most places)

      -Rotating Weekends (Work Sat/Off Sun then Off Sat/Work Sun) -Flexible Scheduling

      Cons

      -You are expected to do a lot of work for very little pay -Being promoted is extremely unlikely and any wage increases is purely for inflation, not because they think you deserve it. -If you do not fight for higher wages they will not give it (I knew someone who has worked full-time in the deli for years longer than I, but somehow he made less than me) - Deli Management is very clique like, the assistant store manager has many complaints filed against him. -Expected to work holidays, no holiday pay or overtime (ever)
