      Pros

      The customers and some of the employees.

      Cons

      Pay is very low. Only part time unless you are in the club. Positions are never posted to give anyone a chance to move up. They tell you flexible schedule..but that is only for students. Store manager do little besides hanging out in the back room. Customers are always asking if the manager is in.

      -Rotating Weekends (Work Sat/Off Sun then Off Sat/Work Sun) -Flexible Scheduling

      Cons

      -You are expected to do a lot of work for very little pay -Being promoted is extremely unlikely and any wage increases is purely for inflation, not because they think you deserve it. -If you do not fight for higher wages they will not give it (I knew someone who has worked full-time in the deli for years longer than I, but somehow he made less than me) - Deli Management is very clique like, the assistant store manager has many complaints filed against him. -Expected to work holidays, no holiday pay or overtime (ever)
